Scot's Landing has been converted to a condominium with each log cabin and its lot a "unit" in the condominium (similar to a city condo unit, which is usually a townhouse or apartment).
The purchaser of each unit will have a title that he/she will own, and each unit also owns a 1/22 interest in the common property. Common property in a city condo is usually the halls, elevators, swimming pool, etc. Here the common property will be the docks, boat launch, playground, pathways, roadways, water wells and pipes, bridge to wading beach, storage shed, open areas around the ponds, hill and lake shore and some tools and equipment.
Please note: this is not a time-share. The Saskatchewan land titles system will issue each owner a title to the unit and his or her 1/22 interest in the common property.
The condominium board (elected by unit owners) will maintain the common property. There will be some security year round. A unit owner will have worry-free cottage ownership!
An owner will be able to expand the existing units and/or build new cabins on the vacant units. Each unit will have to maintain the log exterior and color. Machibroda Engineering has done a geotechnical study of the Landing and they require that the natural drainage and vegetation be maintained as much as possible. Garden watering must be limited. No lawns will be permitted.

Each unit will have use of the launch and a space on the dock. Each unit will have access to, and use of, the common areas along the river bank and forest along the hillside. The river bank to the south of the Landing is Crown land and unit owners have access to that area as well.
The condo corporation will handle all the menial details of maintenance of the dock, road, water system, beach and other common property. You just come and relax in your cottage on the river stretch of Tobin Lake.
